Here we are to be reporting on ongoing rolling stock projects:

If you want ot see what is going on with the modulebuilding. I have a separate page here

LILIPUT VT25 Railcar worked on.

Gee, this looks nasty. My new VT25 railcar had to be dismantled. Reason for it was that I wanted put passengers, driver and a DCC-decoder into it. So what you see in the picture above is "all that was left" after some serious surgery. Dont worry, it loks messier then it is. I can assure that I was pritty concerned with understanding how to get the damn thing apart without breaking parts. By the way. The model is an old model from austrian modelmaker LILIPUT.

Anyway, in this picture you can see that things are looking better again. Som passengers are now glued to the seats with Loctite superglue. The LENZ (silver)-decoder sits there on the top and wires are tracked to the lighting in the headlights and passanger compartment area.

Here you ca see that the drivers is taking his first turns with the car. The driver figure is from Preiser. Great German quality.

The H0 scale is great to provide very detailed models. Here you see the passing bridge between the VT25 motorcar and passenger car. Looks pritty close to the real world ??

JOUEF Draisine for Gliesmarode

I need to have a eyecatcher onto my tracks. And what is better then a small draisine moving down the tracks on its way to fix bits and pieces? Of course it should be motorised and digiticed.

The decoder is to be not just getting it moving slowly down the tracks. We also need lights running and also a flashing light to the roof for warning.

I managed to track down a nice Frensch JOUEF Draisine. Allthough havign it origin from France and SNCF I will upgrade it to make good use on my German inspired tracks. I the picture above you see my progress (Mar 9 2007) after dismantling the whole thing. Now it is getting ready for painting and weathering.

The decoder will be a LENZ Gold micro.

More text and pics to come as progress is being made..
